The Alterdesk messenger uses different kinds of notifications to alert you about messenger activity. There are email notifications and there are mobile notifications that are displayed on your smartphone or tablet.
You can choose what messenger activities trigger an email notification. Change these settings by choosing ‘Profile’ from the top right menu in the web interface. Go to the ‘Email settings’ tab. You will then see a list of possible email triggers. Choose which emails you think are handy for you – you can always change these settings again later.
You can change when you get mobile notifications on each of your devices. You can do this by navigating to ‘General settings’, where you can find the notification options under ‘Notifications’.
