If the desktop client (for Windows or MacOS) crashes when starting it up or installing it, you can fix this by deleting the following folders from your computer:
Replace <username> met with your own username (without the angle brackets / chevrons).
If you are somehow unable to delete these folders, you can open your task manager (by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete) and close all Alterdesk.exe processes. If it still does not work, restart your computer and try again.
